Key Responsibilities

  • Review project plans,      specifications, and design documents to develop detailed cost estimates
  • Lead cost estimation,      budgeting, bid leveling, and value engineering efforts
  • Develop and manage      preconstruction schedules and risk assessments
  • Coordinate with design      teams in design-build and design-assist environments
  • Prepare and present      estimates, budgets, and value options to clients and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain      strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and      subcontractors
  • Partner with project      teams to align scope, budget, and schedule prior to construction
  • Utilize industry-leading      software tools to manage estimating and preconstruction workflows
  • Provide leadership,      mentorship, and strategic direction to preconstruction team members
Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction      Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of construction      experience with 5+ years in preconstruction
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Cost estimating,       budgeting, bid leveling, and value engineering
    • Project planning,       scheduling, coordination, and risk management
  • Experience with commercial,      industrial, or manufacturing projects (highly preferred)
  • Proven leadership skills      with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical,      problem-solving, and presentation abilities
  • Excellent communication      skills and client-facing experience
  • Knowledge of building      codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in      construction software including:
    • Destini Estimator
    • Procore
    • OST
    • Bluebeam
    • BuildingConnected
    • Pipeline Suite
