WHAT WILL YOU DO 

The Director, IT Integration & Data Architecture is responsible for the end-to-end design, delivery, governance, and modernization of Orgain’s enterprise integration ecosystem and data architecture. This role focuses on, data engineering, metadata and lineage, data governance, master data management t, and scalable enterprise data platform capabilities. It is a strategic technology leadership role focused on building governed, reliable, and cost-effective data and integration foundations and reporting structures to support business analytics, operational reporting, , and enterprise digital enablement.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Define, build, and govern enterprise application portfolio integrations (MS Fabric, APIs, middleware, database replication, secure file interchange) across the application ecosystem, ensuring resiliency, , security, compliance, and performance.
• Own the enterprise data platform architecture (lake, warehouse, semantic/subject layers) and drive modernization initiatives aligned with business growth.
• Lead enterprise-wide IT programs, including digital supply chain and data platform initiatives, defining program scope, objectives, KPIs, and success criteria across all initiatives.
• Implement metadata, lineage, catalog, and data governance frameworks to ensure trusted, discoverable, and compliant data.
• Establish master/reference data management foundations with clear stewardship, quality controls, and ownership.
• Direct partner and vendor delivery; set standards for quality, documentation, technical design, and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to ensure data models are ready for consumption while maintaining strict below-the-line boundaries.
• Lead complex multi-workstream technology delivery initiatives, coordinating across IT, Finance, eCommerce, Supply Chain, and external partners.
• Maintain integration service catalog and blueprint; enforce secure, durable, and governed integration practices. 
• Design durable standard models and schemas optimized for analytics, operational reporting, and cross-application interoperability.
• Implement data quality management processes including validation, profiling, reconciliation, and automated monitoring.
• Define versioning and release/change management standards for data and integration components. 
• Set individual goals for improving and expanding on everyday job functions, as well as on the greater social and environmental aspects of your work. We expect that you remain accountable to these goals and report your progress in performance reviews.
• Adhere to Orgain’s environmental policies, including our environmental purchasing and recycling policies. 
• Be an active member in enhancing Orgain’s social and environmental impact. Help us continue to evolve our commitment to the planet and the people we serve.
• Encourage team members’ progress to their individual goals and facilitate group goal-setting for social and environmental performance consistent with Orgain’s ESG program.
• Coach/lead and provide interpersonal relationship development for all direct reports. Key activities include:
• Creation of an environment to provide formal and informal feedback; coaching to assist in growth of career and key competencies;
• Providing day-to-day guidance and problem-solving;
• Identifying and selecting team members; and
• Driving high performance management with clear measures of success.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• The ideal candidate brings senior-level experience in enterprise technology modernization, integration architecture, and data engineering leadership:
• 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise integration and application and data platform capabilities in complex multi-system environments.
• 10+ years of experience implementing structured MSP vendor management, technology governance frameworks, and enterprise technology integrations. 
• Demonstrated experience establishing integration standards, data governance, metadata/lineage frameworks, and MDM foundations.
• Proven leadership driving application portfolio optimization and data platform modernization initiatives.
• Strong grounding in Azure and/or AWS cloud architecture.
• Experienced in leading cross-functional delivery including vendor management, technical program leadership, risk/issue management, and stabilization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills; ability to influence without authority.
• Background in enterprise application governance, lifecycle planning, and digital enablement.
• Certification in cloud platforms, Lean Six Sigma, data governance, or change management are a plus.
• Systems thinker able to balance architectural rigor with delivery pragmatism.
• Strong collaborator, able to align stakeholders around outcomes and drive clarity in complex environments.
• Builder mindset focused on scalable standards, reusable patterns, and raising engineering maturity.
• Self-directed with a demonstrated sense of accountability.
• Ability to adapt to the changing needs of a dynamic growth-oriented business.
• Effective leadership, teamwork and organizational skills.
