About the Role

Join the Chem-Plate Industries team! We're looking for a sharp, on-site Customer Operations Specialist to act as the key connector between our clients and internal teams. You will oversee end-to-end order management, tackle customer inquiries, and ensure accurate record-keeping across all systems. By delivering fast, thoughtful resolutions, you will directly drive operational efficiency and elevate overall customer satisfaction.

Chem-Plate is a growing metal finishing company serving customers nationwide across the automotive, construction, military, transportation, and agriculture industries. 

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and order-related questions primarily through email communication
• Process and track orders to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment
• Monitor and report on order status, inventory, and customer feedback
• Maintain accurate records in company systems and generate operational reports
• Update data in our ERP to reflect accurate data in the master scheduler
• Forwarding incoming purchase orders (POs) to Order Entry (OE) for regular orders
• Requesting updates on production timing and sharing internal updates/information
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve customer experience
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Customer Operations Director to support overall company operations

What We’re Looking For 

• 2-3 years of experience, preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with employees, supervisors, and management

• Comfortable working in-person, Monday through Friday in a manufacturing setting

• Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency
