Quality Technician
Description
  •  Support manufacturing operations through timely review of production batch records and receiving documentation.
  • Support quality-critical manufacturing processes such as label generation for medical devices and environmental monitoring.
  • Perform internal process audits in a critical manufacturing environment.
  • Perform incoming inspection and generate records for received material.
  • Perform physical inspection of electromechanical assemblies through use of visual aids and measurement equipment.
  • Perform visual inspection and physical measurement of injection molded, sheet metal, and packaging components for conformity to specifications.
  • Assist Quality Engineers and manufacturing personnel in the execution of calibration activities, including review and retrieval of calibrated equipment for processing.
  • Documentation of product quality through paper and electronic systems, including Word, Excel, and web-based PLM systems.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a quality inspection manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in a small-batch, high-mix manufacturing environment is desired.
  • Ability to read basic drawings, prints & schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail when performing inspections and documenting results.
  • Must be able to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities is necessary.
  • Ability to cooperate as part of the quality team to meet department goals.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An associate degree in mathematics, science or Engineering is preferred
