Job Description:
 

JSL Technologies is seeking an experienced, confident, and insightful Financial Analyst in Port Hueneme, CA.  Influence decisions through daily interaction with division director and executive leadership. Apply your analytical skills to further company business strategic initiatives. Monitor company financial goals through program and profit analysis. JSL is customer-focused and employee-centric providing professional growth opportunities.

 Minimum Qualifications:

• Advanced Excel skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the    future
•   Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position 

• Experience working with senior leadership
• 1 or more years' experience as a Project Controller
• A minimum of two years of experience in government contract financial management or program financial analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related business discipline

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• Strong communication / interpersonal skills
• Proven analytical background
• Business Analysts professional accreditation desired
• Experience generating process documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills

Responsibilities include:
 

• Creating detailed business analysis
• Descriptive, Predictive, and Prescriptive Analytics
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Planning and monitoring
• Financial modeling
• Variance Analysis
• Pricing
• Reporting
• Facilitate communications between division business functions and corporate departments.
• Develop business analytical tools associated with new contracts
• Participate in the business development process
   

Security Clearance:

Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD Government- granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
