Job Title: Marketing Promotions & Events Intern

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt


Anticipated projects/work to be completed:

  • Help develop best practices for running on-site Ellsworth Sports Events, State Fairs, and Festivals
  • Assist in signage and on-site set-up at Promotions and Events
  • Assist in handing out product samples, company brochures, or coordinating promotions at Events
  • Assist in Ellsworth Retail Store and Online Store analysis and process improvements

  • Retail Store and Online Store Analysis and Process Improvement Report-out
Requirements

 Required competencies and skills:

  • Capable of supporting event setup, signage placement, and promotional logistics accurately and and efficiently. 
  • Comfortable interacting with the public, representing the brand, and engaging with customers at live events.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, hand-on environments.
  • Interest in reviewing retail and online store processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Foundational understanding of marketing principles, promotions, or customer engagement.
  • Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and remain flexible in dynamic event and retail environments. 
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and ability to partner.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to take on new challenges.
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Excel are required. 
  • Proficient in other Microsoft Office programs. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Retail Management, E-Commerce or Digital Marketing

Schedule/Duration of Internship

  • Summer: Mid-May through August, 40 hours per week

*Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.
