About the Role

Beach Front Property Management is looking for a detail-driven Property Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy and ownership, and understands the unique rhythm of multifamily and property management accounting.

You’ll report directly to the Controller and play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our portfolio.


Job Functions:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned properties 
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts 
  • Review and manage accounts payable 
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations 
  • Analyze financial data and create spreadsheet reports to support management decisions 
  • Assist with consolidated internal and external financial reporting 
  • Support audits, process improvements, and accounting procedure updates 
  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data 
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect company financial information 
  • Collaborate with operations and accounting team members as needed 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (Property Management / Multifamily strongly preferred)
  • Yardi Voyager experience required (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable handling a high-volume workload in a dynamic environment 

Work schedule & Location

  • Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 
  • 100% onsite in Long Beach, CA
