Position Summary

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for coordinating import and export logistics activities while leveraging data analysis to improve freight cost control and operational efficiency.


This role requires strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights into logistics performance, transportation costs, and supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on logistics experience with advanced analytical skills, leveraging data analytics, automation tools, and AI-driven insights to improve logistics performance and decision-making.


Key Responsibilities


Logistics Operations

  • Coordinate import and export freight activities ensuring accuracy, service levels, and timelines. 
  • Process palletized cargo call tags and manage parcel shipment claims.
  • Request and track Proof of Delivery from all carriers (Export – all modes, Import air freight, and WAI transfers).
  • Coordinate domestic supplier LTL and parcel pickups.
  • Process export documentation for parcel shipments.
  • Respond to Shipping and Warehouse department inquiries, including IT ticket resolution.

Data Analysis, Dashboards & AI Utilization

  • Collect, monitor, and analyze logistics and transportation data to identify cost optimization opportunities.
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards to track logistics KPIs, freight spend, carrier performance, and operational metrics.
  • Translate operational data into actionable insights to support logistics strategy and process improvements.
  • Create custom analytical reports that support recommendations to reduce freight costs and improve logistics processes.
  • Analyze logistics elements including transportation performance, supplier management, distribution efficiency, and supply chain reliability. 
  • Leverage AI tools and advanced analytics to improve reporting, identify trends, and support operational decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and data analysis processes using modern analytics tools.

  • Work cross-functionally with logistics, operations, procurement, and warehouse teams.
  • Promote a collaborative work environment and support cross-training initiatives.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in logistics workflows and operational processes.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements

Requirements

  • Must be currently based in the Philippines.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain operations (required).
  • Experience building and owning dashboards in Power BI (not only using dashboards).
  • Proven ability to analyze operational data and translate insights into process improvements.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Techical & Analytical Skills

  • Advanced analytical skills with experience interpreting logistics and supply chain data.
  • Strong Power BI experience including:
    • Building dashboards from scratch
    • Data modeling
    • KPI visualization and performance tracking
  • Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience using AI tools or automation platforms to enhance reporting, analysis, or operational insights is a plus.
  • Ability to generate data-driven insights and recommendations.
