The Core Store member is our all-around-the-store position! You will be involved in many aspects of what makes our stores amazing. In fact, we created this position after staff told us they wanted MORE…more responsibility, more opportunity, more fun! The Core Store Team is all over the store, making it awesome and taking the very best care of our guests.
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Deliver genuine and compassionate “extra mile” hospitality to our guests while completing accurate register transactions
- Love making our displays beautiful – abundantly stocked, organized, and expertly merchandised
- Enjoy working with our produce as they receive, cull, stock, rotate, and prep with finesse
Departments Needed: Grocery, Front-End, Produce, Meat & Seafood.
Shifts: Weekdays & Weekends- Open, Mid, and Closing shifts
Pay: Starting range of $15.50 - $16.29 per hour, previous experience will be considered
Location: 222 Dorset St. South Burlington, VT
SKILLS & BEHAVIORS
To perform the job successfully, the employee should demonstrate the following:
- Knowledge of natural foods/grocery industry, preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Interest and passion for the product (loves food and wants to learn more about it!)
- Positive attitude
- High energy and an ability to work in a demanding environment
- Self-management and an ability to remain calm under any stressful situation
- An ability to be quick on their feet and make smart decisions instantaneously
