Description

The Sanitation Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and
hygienic environment by performing cleaning, waste removal, and sanitation
duties. This role ensures compliance with health and safety standards across
assigned areas.


Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize buildings, restrooms, equipment, and work areas
  • Collect, sort, and dispose of trash, recycling, and hazardous waste properly
  • Operate cleaning equipment and sanitation tools (e.g., pressure washers, floor scrubbers)
  • Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs
  • Follow established sanitation procedures and safety regulations
  • Identify and report maintenance or safety issues
  • Use personal protective equipment

(PPE) correctly at all times

  • Support special cleaning projects or emergency cleanups as needed.
  • Previous sanitation, janitorial, or cleaning experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and sanitize buildings,

restrooms, equipment, and work areas

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Previous sanitation, janitorial, or cleaning experience is preferred
