Carpenter

  • Responsibilities: Layout, build, and repair      wooden frameworks, structures, fixtures, and flooring.
  • Key Tasks: Install doors, windows,      trim, cabinetry, and flooring; cut and shape materials using power tools;      verify structure alignment with level/plumb bob.
  • Skills: Blueprint reading, precise      measurements, proficiency with saws, drills, and pneumatic tools. 

Painter

  • Responsibilities: Prepare, seal, and apply      protective or decorative finishes (paint, stain) to surfaces.
  • Key Tasks: Clean and prep surfaces      (sanding, masking); mix paint/stains; apply finishes using brushes,      rollers, or sprayers; patch, caulk, and repair minor surface defects.
  • Skills: Knowledge of color mixing,      surface preparation techniques, and safe handling of hazardous materials. 

Electrician

  • Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and      repair electrical power, lighting, control, and communication systems.
  • Key Tasks: Install wiring, circuit      breakers, outlets, and fixtures; troubleshoot malfunctions; read      electrical schematics to ensure compliance with local electrical codes.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of      electrical systems, safety protocols, and diagnostic testing equipment. 

Drywaller/Drywall Installer 

  • Responsibilities: Measure, cut, hang, and      finish drywall panels (sheetrock) on walls and ceilings.
  • Key Tasks: Fasten panels to metal or      wood frameworks; tape, bed, and "mud" joints; sand surfaces      smooth; install corner beads.
  • Skills: Measuring, lifting,      taping, and finishing techniques to ensure smooth, seamless surfaces for      painting. 


Requirements

 Common Qualifications (All Trades)

  • High school diploma or  equivalent, plus apprenticeship or vocational training.
  • U.S. Passport, Permanent Resident Card (Green Card), or a Driver's License combined with a Social      Security card
  • Pass background check
  • Physical stamina (lifting,bending, standing) and ability to work at heights.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass DOJ background check

25.00-35.00 per hours DOE
