With a reputation for safety, precision, and performance, we rely on a skilled team and a fleet of high-powered heavy equipment—including excavators, high-reach machines, shears, and grapples—to execute projects across the country.


We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team and ensure our demolition fleet stays in peak condition for the demands of industrial and structural demolition projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of heavy demolition equipment, including:
    • Excavators (CAT, Komatsu, Kobelco Sennebogen)
    • High-reach units
    • Hydraulic shears, grapples, and hammers
    • Support vehicles
  • Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on-site and in the shop
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems in the field under tight timelines
  • Respond to breakdowns at active job sites and minimize downtime for crews
  • Keep detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and repair records
  • Order parts, track inventory, and manage small tool upkeep
  • Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA regulations during all repair and maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with operations team to schedule equipment service around job timelines
  • Train and supervise junior mechanics or service techs as needed


Requirements Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with heavy equipment maintenance and repair (demolition or construction industry      preferred)
  • Proficient with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics
  • Ability to read technical diagrams, service manuals, and equipment schematics
  • Welding/fabrication skills a plus
  • Valid driver's license (CDL Class B or higher preferred)
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor/field conditions
  • Strong safety record and commitment to working in a team environment
  • Must be willing to travel 


Preferred Certifications (not required):

  • ASE Certification
  • OSHA 10 or 30
  • Heavy Equipment or Hydraulic Technician Certificate
