About This Opportunity
This role supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems that control temperature and air quality in buildings. You’ll troubleshoot issues, complete preventative maintenance, and document work completed.
Journeyman-level candidates and apprentices are both encouraged to apply.

Assignment Details
Pay: $21-$25/hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Assignment Type: Long- Term Assignment

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues including airflow, temperature control, electrical, and mechanical failures
- Perform preventative maintenance: inspections, filter changes, belt replacement, coil cleaning, lubrication, and operational testing
- Install and replace HVAC components such as thermostats, motors, contactors, capacitors, relays, sensors, and controls
- Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
- Test electrical circuits and controls using appropriate meters and diagnostic tools
- Support start-ups and system checks to confirm performance and proper operation
- Document work completed, parts used, and next-step recommendations
- Maintain clean work areas and follow site safety policies at all times
- Apprentice-level: work under supervision while building troubleshooting and installation skills
- Journeyman-level: work independently, prioritize work, and provide clear job updates
Equipment, Tools, or Systems Used
- Hand tools and power tools
- HVAC test equipment
- Schematics and blueprints
Work Environment and Dress Code
- New Residential construction job sites
- Work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions (heat/cold)
- Follow jobsite safety expectations and maintain clean work areas
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and basic electrical troubleshooting
- Comfortable using common tools and test equipment (gauges, multimeter, hand/power tools)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate what you found and what you fixed
- Dependable attendance and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift/carry tools and materials
Preferred Requirements
- HVAC schooling or field experience preferred (apprentice or journeyman)
- EPA Section 608 preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Journeyman license preferred if applicable to your experience level
