The Eye Associates, an affiliate of Eye Health America, is a growing, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. We are currently seeking a licensed optician to join our growing optical department in Venice.

The ideal candidate is a motivated multi-tasker with a positive, team-oriented attitude and a strong commitment to patient care. Flexibility is essential, as occasional overtime may be required and travel to our other office locations is part of the role.

Job Responsibilities:

Assisting patients and customers with the selection of frames, lenses, and lens treatments.
Ordering lenses from the lab.
Filing insurance claims.
Final inspection of lab work prior to notifying patient that their order is ready.
Return and track returns for inventory purposes.
Processing invoices for payment.

Requirements

Must be a licensed optician in the state of Florida.
Must have an active and valid Driver's License.
