JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Club Lounge Attendant is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests from arrival to departure of the Executive Club Lounge. The main focus is to engage every guest in conversation and recognition, as well as resolve any guest issues immediately

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Approach all encounters with      guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner. 
  • Maintain high standards of      personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform      and name tag when working (per brand standards).
  • Maintain regular attendance in      compliance with Vinayaka Hospitality standards, as required by scheduling      which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. 
  • Greet and welcome all guests      entering the Executive Club Lounge.
  • Set up breakfast/evening      reception food items according to standards.
  • Maintain proper condition and      cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment.
  • Prepare drinks when applicable      for the customers and servers, ensure that the proper materials and      supplies are on hand, and talk to guests. Ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic      beverages. Act as the cashier for      the servers when necessary. (PM Only).
  • Provide opening and closing      inventory of spirits (PM Only).
  • Ensure station and table set-ups      are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Food &      Beverage Supervisor/Manager.
  • Responds to inquiries with      accurate information regarding hotel features, services and assistance.
  • Employees must at all times be      attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and all      other employees. 

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Most work tasks are performed      indoors. Temperature is moderate      and controlled by hotel environmental systems; however, must be able to      work in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F),      possibly for one hour or more.
  • Must be able to stand and exert      well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. 
  • Must be able to exert well-paced      ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously. 
  • Must be able to exert well-paced      ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis.
  • Must be able to lift trays of      food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing      basis.
  • Must be able to push and pull      carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be able to exert well-paced      ability in limited space and to reach other locations of the hotel on a timely      basis. 
  • Must be able to exert well-paced      ability in limited space.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop,      squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
  • Requires grasping, writing,      standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing,      listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Talking and hearing occur      continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and      subordinates.
  • Vision occurs continuously with      the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use      and operate all necessary equipment.
