RS Medical is seeking an enthusiastic IT Programming Intern I to join our Information Technology team in Summer 2026. If you’re a motivated student passionate about software development, systems design, and problem-solving, this internship offers real-world experience working on meaningful projects that support our mission and business operations.
You’ll gain exposure to application development, system analysis, performance tuning, and cloud-based technologies — all while working alongside experienced IT professionals who support your growth. This is a Hybrid role.
What You’ll Do
As an IT Programming Intern I, you will:
- Assist with system design, code review, performance engineering, and documentation
- Learn and utilize tools for source code control, version management, issue tracking, and technical documentation
- Follow established coding standards and development best practices
- Analyze program performance and make improvements based on user feedback and supervisor direction
- Work directly with users to understand requirements and needed system modifications
- Help clarify technical issues related to coding, testing, and database design
- Participate in project analysis and design meetings
- Collaborate with project team members across the organization
- Complete other related tasks that support IT functions
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- 0–6 months of prior IT experience
- Completion of at least one year of college-level programming coursework (C++, Java, or similar)
- Salesforce.com or other cloud development experience (preferred, not required)
Technical Skills
You should have a foundational understanding of:
- Microsoft Web Architecture
- Microsoft ASP.NET development
- Microsoft C#.NET
- Scripting languages that integrate with C#
- SQL Server

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role is based in a general office environment and includes frequent computer use, talking, and sitting. Occasional bending, walking, reaching, or weekend/early/late-hour work may be required.
