Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Senior Finance & Accounting Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a small team environment and is comfortable managing a broad range of finance and accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate brings several years of experience, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to operate independently while supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

  

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable & Revenue Management:

  • Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections.
  • Apply and reconcile customer payments; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate AR records and support cash flow management.

Accounts Payable & Expense Management:

  • Process and review vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
  • Maintain organized documentation and support internal controls over disbursements.

General Accounting & Financial Operations:

  • Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
  • Complete bank and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Analyze financial results and research variances.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Handle ad hoc financial analysis and operational support as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 3+ years of accounting and finance experience.
  • Experience working in small or mid-sized organizations preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
