Description

As a Home Care Specialist, you will perform a wide range of repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks for residential and commercial properties. You will utilize your skills to address various issues, providing efficient and high-quality workmanship while ensuring client satisfaction.

Service Delivery

  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and strong communication.
  • Diagnose appliances, electrical systems, and plumbing issues and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Execute repairs on various systems and structures, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and flooring.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients regarding project timelines, costs, and progress updates.
  • Stay on task, follow a service schedule, and respond to emergencies promptly.
  • Perform routine house checks and update clients with status updates.
  • Perform routine recurring tasks such as setting up and removing dock circulators and annual seasonal checklists.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Equipment Management 

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring they are properly stored and organized.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or repairs that need to be made to fleet services.

Safety and Compliance

  • Enforce safety regulations and practices within the crew, ensuring adherence to all company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Follow and enforce company policies and standards for you and your crew. 
  • Identify potential hazards and take corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Record Keeping 

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, time sheets, job photos, and crew performance. 
  • Facilitate excellent customer service by utilizing the company documentation process for reporting service-related issues to management. 


Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in a similar role, home building, appliance repair, or a related trade.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of tools and equipment is necessary for repairs, maintenance, and construction projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions quickly and effectively.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
  • A valid driver’s license
  • DOT Medical Certification

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM Weekends and after hours as needed
