Frank's Basement Systems is looking for a Service Technician to join our team. We specialize in Basement Waterproofing, Foundation Repair, Crawl Space Encapsulation, and Humidity and Mold Control. In this position, you will be responsible for completing annual and emergency maintenances on systems previously installed by the company.  You will recommend and offer solutions for new issues that have arisen at customers’ homes. A successful candidate will support the company’s management, purpose, mission, and values. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Drives to customers’ homes to meet with them for pre-scheduled appointments to perform an annual maintenance on an existing system or follow-up on warranty issues. 

2. Examines work done by our company and determines if there is a potential problem to be remedied. Timely completes all paperwork/data entry and follow-up communication required for the appointment.

3. When installing a product for a customer, follows all job specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines. 

4. Follows through with customers until all issues are resolved.

5. Drives for the company in a safe manner. 

6. Regular, reliable on-site attendance. 

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

1. Knowledge of construction or related trades.

3. Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.

4. Skill in operating equipment and power tools.

5. Skill in operating a personal computer and programs.

6. Skill in verbal communication.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred; 

2. 1-3 years’ experience in a construction or trades background preferred.

3. A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
