Location: Remote. THIS POSITION WILL SUPPORT THE EASTERN HALF OF THE U.S.

The Sport Market Specialist is responsible for the sales strategy, training and support for Sports & Education accounts, with focus on the volleyball markets. The Sport Market Specialist must complement the strategic plans of the Regional Sales Organization and coordinate with the Regional Sales Managers and Territory Sales Managers.

1. Develop and execute sales strategies for the volleyball market segment, ensuring alignment with overall sports segment objectives.

2. Define and manage action plans for key accounts to drive growth, strengthen partnerships and maximize opportunities. 

3. Establish clear sales actions and expectations for agents to support market penetration and revenue goals. 

4. Promote and secure orders in Colleges, Universities, High School and Clubs to achieve sales goals in the volleyball market. 

5. Promote and achieve specifications of Gerflor Sport and Education products by calling on End Users, Specifiers such as Architects, Interior Designers, Sales force of flooring contractors, person or companies. 

6. Update the CRM and distribute information to dealers and agents. Integrate and align activities with the CRM and processes.

7. Organize and actively participate in trade shows, road shows and exhibitions.

8. Conduct ongoing market research including competitor analysis, market share trends, product innovations and pricing strategies and deliver actionable insights to support strategic decision making. 

9. Support new product launches by contributing to the development of launch strategies, sales tools, action plans and incentives for new products.

10. Work closely in the field with sales representatives to gather market insights, support customer engagement and enhance sales development efforts. collect information and to support sales development.

11. Design and implement promotions and incentive initiatives to motivate the sales representatives and influence end users.

12. Organize and support sales seminars, product launch events or other internal or external sport related functions.

13. Provide training to sales employees, new hires, and agents to ensure strong product knowledge and effective sales execution. 

14. Follow up on issues or complaints, working closely with the technical team. 

15. Travel up to 50%.

 · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.

· 7 years of sales experience in the sports area, volleyball market a plus.

· Proven relationships with volleyball market decision makers. 

· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, CRM experience.

· Training experience.

· Effective problem solving and communication skills

Base Salary Range: $115,000/annual to $125,000/annual
The base salary for this position may vary based on factors such as location, training, skills, and relevant experience. This position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, incentive, or commissions. Bonus or incentive programs are subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
