Job Summary

Perform, develop and coordinate health assessment and planning services for individuals and community groups in a variety of public health settings. Guidelines of work determined by West Central Public Health Partnership (WCPHP) a regional collaboration of 6 county public health departments.


This position is currently supported by grant funding, which allows us to advance the county's strategic initiatives. Employment beyond the current grant period is dependent on funding availability.


Pay Rate

The hourly range is from $21.73 to $23.79, depending on experience, plus partial benefits.

This position is 20 hours per week.

*The County pays monthly on the last week day of the month.*

Requirements
  • Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
  • Must complete ICS 100, ICS 700 and ICS 800 within the first year of employment.
  • Must complete ICS 200 and ICS 300 within the second year of employment.

Qualifications/Education

  

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in health care or related field. 
  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in health-related field.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience that the County deems appropriate.
  • Post high school courses in computer, accounting, and other program support functions. Ongoing continuing education in computer programs is necessary.
