Purpose of the Position: The Sales Operations Business Analyst will play a critical role in supporting core operational and technical initiatives across the Sales organization. This role focuses on documenting processes, gathering and translating business requirements, supporting Salesforce-related development, and ensuring the successful delivery of cross-functional projects. The Business Analyst will partner closely with Sales Operations leadership, IT, and cross-departmental stakeholders to drive clarity, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This is a full-time position.
Employees located in the Greater Chicagoland Area or Dallas/Frisco area are currently expected to work from the office 1 day per week; however, this is subject to change.
Essential Functions:
Business Requirements & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and gather detailed requirements.
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and Salesforce user stories.
- Facilitate alignment between Sales Ops, IT, and other departments to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
Process Documentation & Optimization
- Develop and maintain detailed business process documentation, including current-state and future-state workflows.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency across Sales Ops.
- Support the creation of standardized documentation and repeatable processes for ongoing initiatives.
Project & Backlog Support
- Assist with backlog management, prioritization, and sprint planning in partnership with IT and Sales Ops leadership.
- Support project tracking, milestone management, and communication of updates to stakeholders and executives.
- Ensure requirements are fully understood and properly implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
Testing & Validation
- Participate in testing, validation, and acceptance of new Salesforce features, system enhancements, and process changes.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet documented business requirements and quality standards.
Data & Insights
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Support reporting needs by validating data accuracy and ensuring alignment with business definitions.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical or operational role.
- Experience supporting Salesforce or similar CRM platforms required.
- Background in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or related business functions is a plus.
