Position Details
- Part-Time: 16–29 hours per week
- General hours of need: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Benefits include 401(k) and additional options
What You'll Do
As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will:
- Provide exceptional customer service — our patients are always the first priority
- Assist doctors efficiently during orthodontic procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization standards throughout the office
- Utilize downtime productively
- Arrive on time and ready to contribute each shift
- Follow training guidelines and take ownership of your growth
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Review daily communications and stay up to date on office updates
- Help maintain a safe environment for every patient
- Support the entire team — because we operate as ONE team
Success Patterns
- 1–3 years of customer service experience (medical/dental preferred)
- Strong reputation for excellent patient and team relationships
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt and improvise in a fast-paced environment
Personal Characteristics
- Eager to learn about orthodontics
- Self-motivated — especially under pressure
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong communicator (verbal and written)
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods
- Fine motor skills and manual dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Good eyesight (we work with small, detailed materials!)
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Orthodontic assisting experience preferred but not required
- Professional setting with direct patient interaction preferred
