Description
- Clean and maintain office areas, including lobbies, hallways, conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, fixtures, and surfaces as needed.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, counters, toilets, mirrors, doors, handles, and other high-touch areas.
- Restock restroom, breakroom, and cleaning supplies, including paper towels, toilet paper, soap, liners, and related items.
- Clean breakroom tables, counters, sinks, microwaves, refrigerators, coffee areas, and other shared-use areas.
- Maintain a neat and organized supply storage area.
- Report damaged equipment, plumbing issues, lighting problems, leaks, spills, safety hazards, or needed repairs to the supervisor.
- Follow proper procedures for using cleaning chemicals, equipment, and personal protective equipment.
- Assist with setup or cleanup for meetings, employee events, or visitor areas when requested.
- Keep entrances and walkways free of obvious debris or slip hazards.
- Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company, employee, customer, or visitor information observed while performing job duties.

Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks on schedule.

- Basic knowledge of cleaning practices, supplies, and safe chemical handling.
- Ability to maintain a professional and respectful attitude with employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Willingness to follow company safety and housekeeping standards.
- Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities cleaning experience.
- Experience working in an office, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with SDS sheets, cleaning chemical labels, and basic PPE requirements.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment such as mops, brooms, vacuums, carts, and cleaning supplies.
- Ability to work around cleaning chemicals, dust, odors, and typical office or facility conditions.
- Ability to climb short ladders or step stools when necessary and authorized.
- Work Environment
- This position primarily works in office and common areas. The employee may occasionally enter production-adjacent areas depending on facility needs and must follow all posted safety rules and PPE requirements. Work may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, wet floors, dust, noise, and general facility activity.
