We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled “Tool & Die Maker 3” to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide.  


  

Job Summary: 

The Tool Die Maker 3 is responsible for building, maintaining and troubleshooting Progressive Dies, fixtures, jigs, inspection gages used in the manufacturing process of metal stamping, assembly and automation.

  

Responsibilities

  • Building, repair and maintain stamping tools, per design requirements.
  • Modify existing tooling per customer changes and requirements.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform rebuilds, sharpen and repair blanking dies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot press and die problems.
  • Perform changeovers on multiple part tooling.
  • Ability to train other team members
  • Reporting daily time entry with description of work performed.
  • Advising and reporting usage of spare tooling components and shop supplies.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary
Requirements
  • Computer skills is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to work from verbal and written instructions.
  • Team oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • TMA certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Knowledge and operation of all tool room equipment safely and efficiently
  • Knowledge of proper die build procedures
  • Knowledge of punch press equipment and metal forming processes
