About the role:
We are currently seeking a PVP, of Consumer Lending to be responsible for coordinating and administering the consumer lending and business lending within the credit union ensuring compliance with lending policy, procedures and applicable rules and regulations. Consumer lending include the loan origination of direct and indirect loans, the Contractor Financing Program, all associated reports as well as complaint management. Responsibilities also include the development and maintenance of consumer lending policies and procedures and managing activities to meet organizational goals and objectives. Further responsibility includes ensuring all departmental activities, policies and procedures are compliant with applicable state and federal rules and regulations through maintaining current and extensive knowledge of such within the industry.
- Responsible for management of consumer lending activities to ensure adhere to established policy and procedures, rules and regulations and meeting established goals and objectives. Monitoring of product development, pricing and terms and ensuring credit union remains competitive and meets members’ needs. Performs other consumer lending duties as assigned by the SVP of Lending.
- Responsible for working in conjunction with management to develop streamlined origination, processing and funding methods. Provides supervision to management staff to facilitate proper communication between branch and operational staff, third party vendors and indirect partners.
- Creates and monitors pipeline and decision reports from front-end application to disbursement using LOS. Monitors data input to ensure accuracy and proper reporting capabilities. Coordinates all aspects of consumer lending audits by ensuring requested documents and reports provided are accurate and complete and addressing all exceptions accordingly.
- Participates in establishing annual budget and monitors performance to budget throughout the year. In conjunction with the SVP Lending, establishes annual sales goals for lending programs and initiates action to achieve established goals.
- Coordinates efforts between in-house and external IT department to maintain 100% accuracy in system usage. Responsible for reviewing the reports from outside vendors and maintaining their accuracy. Assists in implementation and maintenance of front-end LOS systems to ensure full functionality.
- As directed by management and/or the SVP of Risk Management, be responsible for understanding and complying in an accurate and timely manner with all annual mandated training requirements that pertain to your position at Lafayette Federal CU including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering/OFAC/Cybersecurity/Diversity & Anti- Harassment/Fair Lending.
Qualifications:
- Ten years to fifteen years of similar or related experience.
- (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
- Skills Work frequently involves exercising advanced conflict resolution, giving material presentations, and resolving issues impacting multiple departments or divisions. Role also requires the ability to motivate or influence others as a material part of the role, with a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the role and a high level of interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position.

Pay: $133,000 - $171,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
