This is a stable, full time Psychiatry role serving Veterans in Memphis, Tennessee. There is no TN state license requirement! We are looking for an experienced Psychiatrist who is interested in a predictable weekly schedule, manageable patient volume, and long term contract stability.

Position Highlights

Schedule

• Start as soon as credentialed
• Monday - Friday, daytime hours (8:00am–4:30pm/5:00pm depending on assignment) 
• Light home call required during off-hours. Primarily phone-based consultation with rare in-person needs. Physicians must be available by phone within 15 minutes and able to report onsite within 60 minutes if necessary. 

Caseload

• 6 to 6.5 patient bookable hours/day
• 6 patients for an hour each OR roughly 12 patients for one half-hour each; OR any combination of one-hour and one-half hour appointment per day totaling 6 to 6.5  bookable patient hours per day

• Full/Unrestricted, Active License in any State 
• Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or truly Board Eligible 
• BLS Certification 
• ACLS Certification 
• 1+ year of Psychiatry experience as a physician 
• Availability to provide full time coverage for at least 1 year on this contract 
• Clean Malpractice History and Criminal Record
