Summary:

Responsible for the inspection of quality for of raw materials as required, fabricated enclosures/boxes, production processes, and finished products. Also, with enough training, the QC Inspector 1 will be responsible for visual inspection and electrical testing of assembled products.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Reads and understands complex drawings/blueprints as part of the inspection process.

· Inspects incoming items as needed with accuracy and attention to detail. Ensures that finished products and drawings match and meet the company's standards.

· Inspects high volume of items efficiently in a short period of time.

· Organizes and prioritizes inspection jobs for better efficiency and effectiveness.

· Ensures the proper release of inspected and accepted items/products.

· Utilizes all resources to effectively ensure safe inspection of items (visual, surface finish, dimensions, weld quality, and any workmanship defects)

· Completes and files all the information collected during inspection of any product and relays the information to management as needed.

· Updates inspection forms and testing procedures as required.

· Assists other departments, as needed, to find solutions to quality issues that may arise.

· Abides by all rules and regulations as set forth in the employee handbook.

· Performs other duties/tasks that may be assigned.


Qualifications:

· Excellent time management skills

· Computer literate

· Excellent in mechanical inspection

· Experience in electrical testing/inspection is a plus but not required.


Education/Experience:

· At a minimum, this position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

· Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality control or quality assurance, with demonstrated competency in mechanical inspection.
