Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician II

Pay: $24–$29 per hour DOE + off-shift differential
Schedule: Sunday to Friday, 10 PM – 6:30 AM
Job Type: Full-Time

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC systems, motors, pumps, compressors, and plumbing
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and machinery to ensure minimal operational downtime
  • Assist in installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs using CMMS
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex maintenance issues and improve processes
  • Replace worn or damaged parts, such as belts, bearings, seals, and valves
  • Support emergency repairs, ensuring safety protocols are followed
  • Contribute to preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Maintain inventory of tools and parts for efficient workflow
  • Provide guidance and support to junior technicians when needed
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate’s degree preferred)
  • 3+ years of hands-on mechanical, electrical, or facilities maintenance experience
  • Proficiency with maintenance tools, including hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and vibration analyzers
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies and safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and confined space procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Experience with CMMS or similar maintenance tracking systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document maintenance activities

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification in industrial maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems (EPA, OSHA, or similar)
  • Experience with building automation systems (BAS), PLCs, or industrial control systems
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or large-scale industrial maintenance
  • Familiarity with project management tools for maintenance scheduling and tracking

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Willingness to stay current with emerging maintenance technologies and industry best practices
