JOB SUMMARY:
Provides specified care per families for assigned clients/children with medical needs.
Great flexibility options in the position related to PT, FT, Nights, Weekends, Days - scheduling dependent on client needs and employee availability - can work around school, other work, family, etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides care for assigned children as specified by individual client care plan information per families.
2. Plans and implements appropriate leisure/recreational activities.
3. Maintains a stable environment and ensures the safety of the client.
4. Responds appropriately to emergency situations.
5. Follows through with training provided by families.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or GED. Further education in Nursing preferred.
Experience: Experience in caring for persons with special needs desired.
Driver’s License: A valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required, if transporting clients.
Personal Vehicle: Depending on clients and must have insurance if transporting clients. Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
