We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist


 The Sales Support Specialist is a key contributor to the Sales and Client Services teams and plays a critical role in supporting business development and client growth efforts. This role is responsible for tracking new business opportunities, preparing presentations and proposals, coordinating contracts and addendums, managing sales documentation, and supporting a streamlined sales-to-onboarding process.


This position requires strong contract management abilities, deep proficiency with DocuSign and custom agreement creation, and advanced skills in Salesforce CRM. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex documentation workflows with accuracy and speed.


Essential Functions


New Business Support

  • Collaborate with the sales team to prepare presentations, proposals, and RFP/bid packages.
  • Collect, enter, and maintain accurate sales tracking information within the Company’s CRM system (Salesforce), for accounts, contacts, opportunities, quotes, proposals and contract agreements.
  • Prepare contracts and service agreements with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring the correct configuration of terms, pricing, and client information.
  • Use DocuSign to create, send, and manage custom agreements, including advanced tagging, routing, and workflow sequencing.
  • Track all contracts throughout the full lifecycle and ensure timely distribution of fully executed versions to all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Support meeting scheduling, agendas, and material preparation as needed.
  • Ensure seamless handoff to the onboarding team and close all opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline reporting for leadership.

Account Management Growth Support

  • Track and organize service agreement addendum requests.
  • Prepare addendums for internal review and ensure accuracy of contract terms.
  • Facilitate DocuSign routing and manage signature workflows from start to finish.
  • Track addendum execution status in Salesforce CRM, and ensure timely delivery to stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistent and accurate documentation across Salesforce, shared drives, and contract repositories.
  • Provide periodic reporting and transparency into pipeline movement and documentation completion.
  • Support revenue-growth initiatives with efficient follow-through and documentation management.
Requirements

Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional contract management skills, including drafting, reviewing, tracking,      and organizing agreements across multiple stages.
  • High proficiency in DocuSign, including: 
    • Creating custom agreements and templates
    • Configuring routing workflows
    • Applying advanced tagging
    • Ensuring full execution and compliance
  • Advanced Salesforce CRM capability, with strong skill in: 
    • Opportunity tracking
    • Data accuracy and validation
    • Reporting dashboards
    • Updating account and contract records
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and high-volume documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation workflows.
  • Strong ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales support, administrative, paralegal, or contract-heavy roles.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce CRM, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle processes is strongly preferred.
  • Experience preparing proposals and RFP responses is a plus.
  • Background in financial services, retirement services, or a similar industry is highly valued.

Blue Ridge is committed to equal pay and pay transparency.

The hourly base pay range for this position is $25.00 – $33.00. This range represents the anticipated compensation for this role across multiple U.S. labor markets and is intended as a general guideline.


Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the role, relevant experience, work location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and current business considerations.
