Our team is looking to add an energetic Front Desk Agent to join the Moxy San Diego Downtown team. As the face of the hotel, you'll create memorable first impressions by delivering a fun, authentic, and engaging guest experience while managing all aspects of the front desk. From check-in to check-out, you'll serve as a key point of contact for guests, ensuring every stay reflects Moxy's playful personality and exceptional hospitality.

You must be able to multitask, solve problems with confidence, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and delivering service with personality.

Job Requirements:
- Welcome guests with an energetic, authentic, and engaging attitude that reflects the Moxy brand.
- Complete guest check-in and check-out efficiently while creating memorable first impressions.
- Process guest payments and handle cash, credit card, and other transactions in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, answering questions, resolving concerns, and providing local recommendations.
- Promote Marriott Bonvoy membership, hotel amenities, and local experiences to enhance the guest stay.
- Respond promptly to guest requests while anticipating needs and delivering personalized service.
- Maintain accurate guest records and complete all required reports during each shift.
- Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby environment.
- Uphold Marriott brand standards, hotel policies, and safety procedures at all times.
Job Qualifications:
- Passion for hospitality with a naturally outgoing, friendly, and service-focused personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build genuine guest connections.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
