Join our team as a Water/Wastewater Senior Project Engineer within our Utilities practice area. This is a hybrid role based out of our Cary, North Carolina office.
In this role, you will serve as a licensed technical leader for complex water distribution and wastewater collection system projects. You will take ownership of advanced design deliverables, provide independent project oversight, and serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and internal Practice Areas.
Senior Project Engineers are recognized for their depth of expertise and ability to lead projects from concept through construction. You will mentor junior engineers, uphold and advance technical standards, and help deliver reliable, resilient utility infrastructure solutions that support growing communities.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering-related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 10+ years of experience in relevant discipline.
- Advanced expertise in planning/design concepts and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent client communication and relationship management abilities.
- Demonstrated success managing technical delivery on complex projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or graphic design software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Working Conditions
