About the Role
The Legal Intern will support the Legal Department with research, document preparation, and administrative legal tasks. This role provides hands-on exposure to corporate/legal operations and offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced professional environment. The intern will work closely with the General Counsel and cross-functional partners to assist with ongoing legal matters and special projects.
What will you do?
- Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, case law, and industry-specific compliance matters
- Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and internal legal documents
- Support document organization, file management, and contract tracking systems
- Prepare summaries, memoranda, and reports for internal stakeholders
- Assist with compliance audits and policy updates
- Support litigation preparation, including discovery organization and document review (if applicable)
- Attend internal meetings and take notes on legal discussions as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the Legal team

Requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program (Pre-Law, Political Science, Business, or related field) or Juris Doctor (JD) program. (2L preferred)
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Licenses, Registrations, Certificates
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license
- Prior internship or work experience in a legal or corporate environment
- Familiarity with legal research tools

- Frequent use of hands and fingers to prod, handle, feel, or reach.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
