Master's Level Therapist Intern–Adolescent Mental Health

We are seeking Master’s Level Therapist Interns who are passionate about adolescent mental health and eager to grow their clinical skills in a structured, supportive environment. This internship provides hands-on experience delivering therapeutic services while receiving supervision and mentorship from experienced clinicians.


This role is ideal for graduate students who are motivated to learn, value teamwork, and want to build strong clinical foundations while making a meaningful difference in the lives of adolescents.

Your Role

  • Provide individual and group therapy for adolescent clients under clinical supervision.
  • Assist with biopsychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and clinical case discussions.
  • Support crisis intervention and safety planning with guidance from licensed clinicians.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team including therapists, psychiatrists, educators, and behavioral health staff.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Engage in supervision and professional development opportunities.

Internship Details and Hours

  • This is an unpaid internship
  • The campus is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am -5:00 pm
  • Supervision provided by qualified LMHC supervisor
  • Opportunity to gain experience with evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care. 
Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
  • Eligible to complete required clinical internship hours through an accredited graduate program.
  • Strong interest in adolescent mental health and therapeutic work with teens and families.
  • Professional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
