Overview:
The aftermarket warranty clerk performs a variety of general accounting and clerical support tasks related to automotive contracts, after market warranty registration and payments along with cross training.

Responsibilities:
- Process warranty and service contract registrations, cancellations, refunds, and remittances in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain and audit cancellation refund logs, ensuring proper tracking and follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Receipt and post warranty refund checks, commission payments, and monthly warranty invoices.
- Review and reconcile warranty-related accounting schedules, chargebacks, and Accounts Payable entries; identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor contracts communications email and respond promptly to internal and vendor inquiries.
- Coordinate with the Contracts Lead, Office Manager, F&I Director, to resolve issues and communicate financial adjustments.
- Ensure all end-of-month warranty processes are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.

The approximate pay range for this position is $20-$23 based on experience. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as the geographic location of the position.
Qualifications:
Proven accounting experience, preferably in the automotive industry. Familiarity with basic accounting procedures. Competency in Excel, Word, databases and accounting software. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks. Well organized. Time management-ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time.
