PRESCHOOL EXTENDED DAY STAFF, PART-TIME
St. Patrick Catholic Preschool is looking for part-time staff for our Extended Day Program for the 2026-
2027 school year.
Schedule
Monday-Friday from 11:00am-3:00pm for students in our 4-year-old and 3-year-old classes.
Essential Job Functions
• Promote and supervise students and activities in the aftercare program while providing a safe
and nurturing environment.
• Take attendance, supervise lunchtime, take students outside or in the gym for gross motor play,
monitor sign-out procedures with parents/guardians, monitor students with allergies.
• Assist with craft activities, reading time, bathroom breaks, clean-up.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Must be a practicing Catholic.
• Must love small children and provide a loving and safe environment.
• Work with fellow Extended Day staff in a cooperative, respectful manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to engage in self-evaluation regarding performance and professional growth.
• Professionalism expected in attire, communication, and demeanor.
Qualifications Profile
• Will be required to complete the Safe Environment requirements of the Rockford Diocese Virtus
Online program.
• Will be required to complete CPR/First Aid training.
