CLASS A END DUMP DRIVER

Position Summary
Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking qualified and experienced Class A CDL Drivers to join our Transportation team supporting operations in Richmond, Kentucky. Drivers will operate high-side steel end dump trailers, transporting materials safely and efficiently along designated routes originating from the Richmond job site.
This role requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), experience operating end dump equipment, and a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. Drivers play a critical role in maintaining reliable material transport operations while upholding Ecology Auto Parts’ operational and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
· Safely operate high-side steel end dump trailers to transport materials along designated routes
· Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractors and trailers
· Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance issues immediately
· Load and unload materials safely while following proper operational procedures
· Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation
· Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations personnel, and site staff
· Follow established routes and schedules originating from the Richmond, KY job site
· Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards during all transport activities.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills
· Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
· Minimum 1 year of experience operating end dump trailers (REQUIRED)
· Experience operating steel end dump trailers or similar heavy equipment preferred
· Strong understanding of DOT regulations and driver compliance requirements
· Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds when required
· Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
· Reliable work ethic with a strong commitment to safety
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors
· Drivers must regularly sit for extended periods while operating vehicles
· Use hands and arms to operate equipment and controls
· Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
· Must possess adequate vision, depth perception, and focus ability for safe driving
· Work may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and job site environments
Compensation
This position offers $25.00 per hour, with approximately 10-hour workdays, five days per week, depending on operational needs.
