About the Program

This is an Earn While You Learn opportunity that combines:

  • Comprehensive classroom instruction
  • Hands-on clinical experience
  • Real-world skills development in a supportive environment
     

Our program prepares students with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to succeed as a CNA.  


Upon successful completion of the course and passing the Maine CNA competency exam, graduates will qualify to pursue full-time or part-time employment opportunities. 


Program Requirements

To be considered for the CNA Training Program, applicants must submit:

  • A current resume
  • A cover letter explaining why you would be a strong fit for the CNA program
  • Two letters of recommendation

Requirements

Participants must meet the following criteria to be accepted in the 'Earn While You Learn' CNA Training Program:

  • Submit resume
  • Submit cover letter explaining why you would be a strong fit for the CNA Program
  • Submit two letters of recommendation
  • Complete interview with Clinical Instructor
  • Complete a Pre-Hire Employment Screening
  • Successfully pass CASAS Reading/Comprehension
