Events Intern
Description

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Events Intern to support the Events team with planning and preparation for several upcoming conferences. This role is ideal for a student interested in event planning, logistics, and project coordination within a mission-driven nonprofit environment.


The intern will assist with event preparation, planning documentation, media organization, and project management tasks that support both current and future events. This role offers the opportunity to learn how complex events are planned and executed within a mission-driven nonprofit environment. The internship is part-time (10-15 hours per week) and paid at $20 per hour. 

Requirements

 

• Support planning and preparation for 2026 events including PJ Library in Aspen, Life & Legacy, and JCamp 180.

• Assist with conference logistics including event signage, menu planning, run-of-show documents, AV production schedules, and planning timelines.

• Review and inventory completed Story First videos, interviews, and b-roll within the StoryFirst/HGF Dropbox.

• Organize and maintain digital event materials and media assets.

• Build out 2027 event blueprints in Wrike for multiple events.

• Support additional event planning and coordination tasks as needed.


Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university and possess a high school diploma or GED.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Comfort working with shared digital tools and file systems.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Interest in event planning, project management, Jewish communities, or nonprofit work is a plus.
