Marketing Intern

Lake Ridge Bank is seeking a creatively minded and motivated student to join the bank for Summer 2026 as our Marketing Intern. The Marketing Intern will support the overall Marketing functions of the bank through project administration, digital marketing administration, event support and all marketing and sales initiatives as assigned by the Marketing Director. In addition, the Marketing Intern will work with the Marketing team to collaborate with other functions across the bank on various activities as needed, all while providing high-quality service both internally and externally. We will be accepting applications until March 27th, 2026, with interviews being conducted in mid-April.  


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Support the Marketing team in planning and implementing marketing campaigns and activities
  • Interface with internal and external customers, along with marketing vendors, in coordinating marketing initiatives

Digital Marketing Support

  • Update and maintain website content 
  • Support eNewsletter and email marketing initiatives 
  • Implement and support social media marketing calendar 
  • Support online customer engagement (using various social media platforms)

Administration

  • Update and maintain marketing promotions calendar 
  • Update and maintain customer databases, subscriptions and publication library
  • Preparation of presentations, reports and analyses as requested

Campaign & Promotions Support

  • Assist in production of marketing campaigns, collateral and other promotional materials

Events

  • Support planning, execution, and documentation of various community and customer appreciation events

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist with coordination of events and other special projects as assigned
  • Complete all annual security and compliance training as required
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times 
  • Actively participate in bank and department meetings
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
  • Working toward an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related field 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interact and communicate with a diverse group of associates
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills 
  • Flexibility with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Functional understanding of advanced features in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint with the ability and willingness to learn new programs/software
  • Demonstrated creative abilities
  • Willingness and ability to participate in community functions where the office is involved
  • Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner
