We are currently hiring a PRN PET/CT Technologist for our new Orlando location, with the opportunity for this role to transition into a full-time position as the center continues to expand. This is a great opportunity to help launch a new imaging center while working in a welcoming, patient-centered environment that values your expertise and supports your professional growth.


Preferred availability between 7 AM – 7 PM with flexibility to work 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts as needed.

Position Overview


PET/CT Technologists at Precision Imaging Centers play a critical role in patient care by performing high-quality diagnostic imaging in an outpatient environment that prioritizes comfort, safety, and image clarity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PET/CT imaging studies following physician protocols
     
  • Prepare patients for exams and clearly explain procedures
     
  • Position patients safely and accurately for imaging procedures
     
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast media per protocol and safety guidelines
     
  • Monitor patients during tracer uptake and scanning procedures
     
  • Evaluate image quality and repeat imaging when necessary
     
  • Maintain PET/CT equipment and complete routine quality assurance checks
     
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to maintain efficient workflow
     
  • Follow radiation safety and compliance standards
     

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program
     
  • Valid Florida license in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology, as applicable
     
  • ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification
     
  • ARRT (CT) or PET/CT certification preferred
     
  • BLS Certification
     
  • Experience with venipuncture
     
  • Prior PET or PET/CT experience preferred

Requirements

 

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program  
  • Valid Florida license in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology, as applicable  
  • ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification  
  • ARRT (CT) or PET/CT certification preferred  
  • BLS Certification  
  • Experience with venipuncture  
  • Prior PET or PET/CT experience preferred
