We are a growing Minnesota based family-owned business. We have an opening for an experienced 1st shift Diesel Engine Technician/Mechanic for our Truck Shop at our Scanlon, MN location. We are looking for someone with (3-5 plus years of experience) an expertise working with diesel engines, detail oriented, and a strong work ethic.

SCHEDULE:

1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7am-4pm (approx. 40-60 hours per week)

WAGE RANGE: $30- $40 plus per hour (varies based on skillset and experience)

The essential duties include:

•Performs repair on diesel truck engines.

•Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.

•Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.

•Inspect the overall condition of Truck to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements.

•Compile inspection reports detailing their findings

•Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.

•Ensure the final work product meets quality standards

•Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers
