Overview
Georgia Urology is seeking a motivated healthcare professional to grow physician referral relationships across our Gwinnett and Northeast Georgia territory.
This role is ideal for a highly driven self-starter who enjoys working in the field, building relationships with physicians and practice teams, and identifying opportunities to grow referral partnerships. The Physician Liaison serves as the primary relationship manager between Georgia Urology and referring providers throughout the region.
Candidates with backgrounds in physician liaison roles, medical sales, healthcare outreach, practice development, or provider relations tend to perform especially well in this position.

Georgia Urology is the largest urology practice in the Southeast, providing specialized care across more than 30 locations. Our physicians deliver advanced care in men’s health, women’s pelvic health, kidney stone disease, urologic oncology, pediatric urology, and reconstructive urology.
Our physician liaison team plays an important role in ensuring referring providers and their staff have clear, trusted access to Georgia Urology specialists and services.
Territory and Travel
• This is a field-based role requiring daily travel throughout Northeast Georgia.
• Primary service areas include Braselton, Buford, Duluth, Gainesville, Lawrenceville, Monroe, Snellville, and Toccoa.
• Candidates should live within or near the territory and be able to easily access major travel corridors including I-85, I-985, and GA-316. Success in this role requires frequent in-person visits to referring practices and healthcare partners throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong referral relationships with healthcare providers including primary care, urgent care, OB/GYN, pediatrics, nephrology, oncology, hospital discharge planners, and other specialty practices.
• Conduct consistent in-person outreach to referring practices across the territory.
• Develop relationships with physicians, practice managers, referral coordinators, and clinical staff.
• Educate providers and staff about Georgia Urology physicians, services, and referral pathways.
• Plan and coordinate provider engagement initiatives including lunch and learns, provider introductions, community health events, and educational programs.
• Use referral data and market insights to identify growth opportunities and prioritize accounts.
• Document outreach activity and referral insights in CRM systems such as Marketware.
• Provide regular reporting on outreach activity, referral trends, and market insights.
Performance Expectations
• Engage approximately 10 referring offices per week.
• Coordinate approximately 10 outreach or community events per quarter.
• Develop new referral relationships within the territory.
• Achieve measurable year-over-year referral growth.

• The strongest candidates are highly motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a territory-based role.
• Successful candidates typically bring experience in physician relations, medical sales, hospital outreach, or healthcare marketing. They are confident interacting with physicians and practice leadership and are able to build trusted relationships over time.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in healthcare outreach, physician relations, provider relations, or medical sales.
• Familiarity with healthcare referral processes and physician practice environments.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to travel daily throughout the territory.
Preferred Experience
• Existing relationships within Gwinnett or Northeast Georgia healthcare communities.
• Experience growing a defined territory or referral base.
• Experience organizing healthcare outreach or provider engagement events.
