The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of CFS Technologies’ IT infrastructure. This role manages the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of servers, applications, network devices, and related systems. The Systems Administrator provides technical support to internal users, leads troubleshooting and optimization initiatives, and contributes to the continuous improvement of IT operations and security posture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of information technology systems.
- Set up new users and give them access to internal applications.
- Manage and maintain file and application servers.
- Analyze and respond to reported network and endpoint security threats.
- Monitor and test disaster recovery procedures.
- Develop tools and documentation to automate routine tasks.
- Respond to employees’ concerns providing technical support.
- Draft documents to help employees use computer systems.
- Plan for and respond to service outages, troubleshooting a quick response time.
- Coordinate with leadership to evaluate new technologies.
- All other duties and tasks requested.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Active Directory.
· Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and virtualization technologies.
· Experience managing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
· Familiarity with and cloud-based administration.
· Understanding cybersecurity best practices and incident response.
· Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
QUALIFICATIONS / PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
· Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in systems or network administration required.
· Relevant certifications (A+, Network+, CCNA, or equivalent MSP certifications) preferred.
· Experience with Active Directory or Microsoft 365 domain/tenant migrations strongly preferred.
· Experience with ERP system administration or web/software development a plus.
· An equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move 20–50 pounds and occasionally lift or pull 35–60 pounds.
- Ability to access and service network equipment, server rooms, and data centers as needed.
- Occasional travel or after-hours work may be required for system maintenance or urgent support needs.
**This position is in-person and based at our corporate office in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This is not a remote position, and employees are expected to work onsite during scheduled business hours. **
