Summary:

The   Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting employee training and development programs across the organization. This role works closely with department leaders to ensure   employees receive the necessary training to perform their jobs safely and effectively. The Training Coordinator helps develop training materials, schedules training sessions, tracks employee progress, and maintains accurate training records to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory   requirements.


Shift: 

Weekdays: 1st Primary

Willing to attend 2nd or 3rd   shift for training support

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

 

Essential Functions:

1. Coordinate and schedule training sessions, orientations, and workshops for new and existing employees 

2. Support onboarding and new-hire training programs to ensure a smooth and compliant start 

3. Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs, certifications, and completion tracking 

4. Assist with the development, updating, and distribution of training materials and resources 

5. Manage learning management system (LMS) data, including course assignments and reporting 

6. Communicate training schedules, requirements, and updates to employees and supervisors 

7. Monitor training compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards 

8. Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and completion data 

9. Assist trainers and facilitators with classroom, virtual, and hands-on training logistics 

10. Coordinate continuing education, refresher training, and re-certification activities 

11. Prepare reports and documentation related to training activity and compliance 

12. Collaborate with management to identify training needs and improvement opportunities

13. Support local HR teams with employee engagement events, training initiatives, CAP Programming, and employee   communications, including translation assistance when necessary.


Requirements


Qualification Requirements:

1. Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail 

2. Ability to manage multiple training schedules, deadlines, and priorities 

3. Effective written and verbal communication skills 

4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and training tracking systems 

5. Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally 

6. Experience working collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization

7. Deliver hands-on training and demonstrations on the production floor, ensuring employees understand processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required

2. Experience maintaining records, tracking data, or coordinating programs 

3. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Proven communication skills – oral and written.

2. Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

3. Ability to organize and lead training sessions, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with multiple departments.

4. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to   coach and support employees across all roles and shifts.

5. Ability to develop training materials, assessments, and supporting documentation.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

None


Physical Demands:

1. Must be able to lift 25lbs.

2. Will spend time on the production floor coordinating and training with factory personnel.

3. Must comply with factory safety policies.

 

Work Environment:

Manufacturing/ office environment

May require occasional standing, walking, or lifting training materials 

Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
