We are currently seeking a Junior Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain hands-on experience in financial operations while supporting the accounting team in maintaining accurate and organized financial records.


Position Overview

The Junior Accounting Specialist will support the accounting department with daily financial operations including accounts payable processing, financial transaction entry, reconciliations, and documentation management.

This role plays a key part in maintaining the accuracy, organization, and integrity of financial records while supporting internal teams and vendors. The position offers exposure to multiple accounting functions and provides a strong foundation for career growth within finance and accounting.


Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

  • Process vendor invoices and enter      transactions accurately into the accounting system 
  • Maintain vendor records including W-9      forms and supporting documentation 
  • Assist with vendor communication regarding      invoices, payments, and documentation 
Accounts Receivable SupportAssist with recording customer invoices      and incoming payments Maintain organized documentation related      to billing and payment records Financial Transaction ProcessingEnter financial transactions into the      accounting system in a timely and accurate manner Maintain well-organized records of invoices,      receipts, and financial documentation Bank and Credit Card ReconciliationAssist with monthly bank account and      credit card reconciliations Help investigate and resolve discrepancies      when needed Month-End Close SupportAssist with month-end closing activities,      reconciliations, and documentation preparation General Accounting SupportProvide administrative and operational      support to the accounting department Assist with financial record organization      and internal documentation as needed QualificationsEducationAssociate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Experience0–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or      financial operations experience Entry-level candidates with accounting      education are encouraged to apply Technical SkillsFamiliarity with QuickBooks or similar      accounting software preferred Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel Strong organizational skills and attention      to detail Ability to maintain accurate and      well-documented financial records Why Join Doota Industrial AmericaOpportunity to work in a fast-growing      industrial and infrastructure environment Exposure to large-scale manufacturing and      engineering projects Collaborative and supportive team      environment Career growth opportunities within      accounting and financial operations

Requirements


  •  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  •  Experience with Quickbooks Online
  •  Minimum 1 years of experience in accounting,
  •  Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
  •  Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  •  Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  •  CPA is a plus but not required
