The Youth Housing Summer Activities Intern will partner with the Youth Housing team to plan, coordinate, and execute summer activities for clients in the Youth Housing programs. The internship opportunity prioritizes learning to develop engaging programs aligned with budget, contract, and licensing requirements while building experience through the practical application of those skills. Additionally, the Youth Housing Summer Activities Intern is encouraged to think creatively to meet requirements and encourage participation from youth in the programs. Ideal candidates will have strengths in attention to detail, organization, and follow through with an openness to learning and receiving coaching as part of their internship experience.
Cocoon House is committed to continually growing in our equity, diversity, and inclusion journey, and candidates with lived experience or who identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ are strongly encouraged to apply! We will also provide reasonable accommodation to qualified persons with disabilities upon request.
