Description

About the Role 

The Field Layout & Quality Assurance Specialist supports project foremen by providing accurate field layout, 

concrete quality assurance, project documentation, and visual progress capture (photo/video). This role is highly 

field-focused and plays a critical part in preventing quality issues, supporting production, and positively 

representing Aggregate Group in the field and in marketing materials. 

Key Responsibilities 

Field Layout & Coordination

? Perform and support layout for building extents, footings, elevations, embeds, and related elements. 

? Coordinate daily layout needs directly with project foremen. 

? Utilize layout software and instruments; maintain working knowledge of manual layout methods. 

Quality Assurance

? Apply working knowledge of concrete construction standards to identify and help prevent quality issues. 

? Collaborate with foremen to ensure work aligns with safety and quality expectations. 

Project Documentation & Media

? Capture organized, professional photo and video documentation of project progress (ground and drone). 

? Ensure all media reflects safe practices, quality workmanship, and positive representation of: 

o Aggregate Group capabilities 

o Team members 

o Industry partners 

? Share relevant media with the BD & CE team for marketing and business development use. 

General Support

? Maintain professional, timely email communication. 

? Attend site and office meetings as requested. 

? Provide lateral support to other teams as needed. 

? Accurately clock in/out of projects as required.

Education, Skills & Experience: 

Required

? High school diploma or GED 

? 5+ years of experience in concrete construction (leadership experience preferred) 

? Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle 

? Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and general Office tools 

? Fluent in English (Spanish preferred) 

Preferred / Required Upon Employment

? OSHA 30 certification 

? CPR / First Aid / AED certification 

? Experience with Hilti Layout Tool, CAD viewers, or similar layout software 

Schedule & Flexibility 

? Primarily field-based with occasional office work for planning and coordination 

? Variable daily start/end times based on field needs 

? Typical work hours fall between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Core hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) 

? Occasional travel or extended hours may be required
