Description

he Floor Support role is critical to providing an exceptional guest experience at Brickstone Brewhouse. This hybrid position combines the responsibilities of a Busser, Food Runner, and General Floor Support, focusing on maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, delivering food promptly and accurately, and ensuring guests feel welcomed and cared for throughout their visit.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Table Maintenance & Resetting
    • Clear and reset tables promptly, ensuring they are clean, inviting, and ready for the next guests.
    • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of dining areas, including floors, chairs, and surrounding spaces.
    • Replace table settings and brush chairs to maintain the restaurant’s polished appearance.
  • Food Delivery
    • Expedite food from the kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring each guest receives the correct order.
    • Explain dishes and address guest inquiries upon food delivery to enhance the dining experience.
    • Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
  • Guest Support
    • Refill water glasses, remove used dishes, and anticipate guest needs throughout their visit.
    • Assist servers in addressing additional guest requests to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Cleanliness & Organization
    • Keep bussing, food running, and service stations stocked, clean, and organized.
    • Ensure the cleanliness of shared spaces, including guest restrooms and entryways, during service.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow and a cohesive dining experience.
    • Communicate guest feedback or concerns to management promptly for real-time solutions.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Basic education or equivalent experience in a customer service role.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, or reaching.
  • Ability to work in a high-heat, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Busser, Food Runner, or in a similar hospitality role.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent training is a plus.

$6.75 Hourly plus tips
